A diverse upbringing across three continents exposed me to different forms of medicine at a young age. I have learned to appreciate approaches to medicine that are simple, outcome based and personalized.
People fascinate me because we are all uniquely designed in our thinking and physical appearance, but are more or less identical on the inside. I love to experience different cultures and its people. During my studies, I dedicated my spring breaks exploring health strategies in unfamiliar areas. I have been grateful to be able to get to know patients and care for them in Mexico, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Thailand and most recently, Haiti.
My mission is to share with my patients the latest, most effective and safe treatments to support them through their disease journey. I see emotional stress as great as physical pain. I create personalized treatment plans for each individual. My passion is outcome based medicine.
In addition to English, I am fluent in Chinese Cantonese. Outside of medicine, my hobbies include swimming, photography, traveling and medicine in art.
I attended Bastyr University after completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Washington. I graduated with my doctorate in naturopathic medicine with a focus on integrative oncology and clinical and laboratory research in breast, prostate and liver cancer. I have additional training with the Institute for Functional Medicine and am a certified functional medicine practitioner.
Warmly, Dr. Ho
